The Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, Mexico has begun taking reservations ahead of its opening later this year.

The property's website is currently accepting bookings for stays starting Nov. 7.

Located between the towns of La Manzanilla and Barra de Navidad in the state of Jalisco, the Four Seasons Tamarindo is surrounded by approximately 3,000 acres of private nature reserve.

The oceanfront property will house 157 rooms, many of them with private pools.

The resort's dining outlets will include modern Mexican concept Coyul, to be helmed by Mexican chef Elena Reygadas; the seafood-centric Sal; and casual poolside taqueria Nacho.

A 35-acre farm on the property, Rancho Ortega, will supply the property's restaurants with produce. The farm will grow pomegranates, figs, cocoa, guava, corn and agave, plus raise egg-producing chickens.

Additionally, the Four Seasons Tamarindo will be home to an 18-hole golf course and course-side restaurant, three pools, a fitness center and a spa.

Guests will have access to the resort's Discovery Centre, where biologists will be available to educate visitors on the area's wildlife.

The Four Seasons Tamarindo will be the brand's fourth hotel in Mexico, joining properties in Los Cabos, Mexico City and Punta Mita.
