MGM Resorts' Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa aims to lure travelers to Atlantic City with a new direct charter jet service program.

Launched via Sun Country Airlines and the MGM Direct charter service program, the property's MGM Direct to Borgata initiative facilitates nonstop flights from as many as 75 markets across the U.S. into Atlantic City International Airport.

Available departure cities include Clearwater, Fla.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Buffalo, N.Y.; Charlotte, N.C.; Houston and Detroit, among many others.

MGM Direct to Borgata packages start at $553 per person, inclusive of roundtrip airfare, deluxe accommodations for three nights and roundtrip ground transportation between the airport and hotel.

Borgata's charter flights will operate on a Sun Country 173-seat 737-800 aircraft.

According to MGM executive director of charter services Sean Farrell, the Atlantic City program builds on the company's successful launch of similar charter flight packages designed to provide convenient transportation to MGM's Beau Rivage resort in Gulfport-Biloxi, Miss., in 2008.

"In addition to bringing new and returning visitors to Borgata for unparalleled travel experiences, the air program benefits greater Atlantic City as visitors dine in area restaurants, visit its bustling Boardwalk, enjoy day life and nightlife entertainment, and participate in outdoor activities on the famous New Jersey beaches," said Farrell in a statement.
