Boston's Copley Square Hotel completes $10M renovation

BOSTON -- Boston's Copley Square Hotel, a member of the Saunders Hotel Group, completed a $10 million renovation and upgrade that expanded its room inventory to 148 rooms.

The hotel also installed a new air-conditioning and heating system -- at a cost of $6 million -- which offers individual temperature control and better air quality.

The Back Bay property, built in 1891, bills itself as the oldest continually operating hotel in Beantown.

The Saunders group also includes the Lenox Hotel and the Comfort Inn & Suites Boston Airport.
