Caesars Entertainment plans to spend $400 million on a revamp of its Atlantic City portfolio, with the company's Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah's Resort Atlantic City and Tropicana Atlantic City properties all slated to receive extensive updates.

The company plans to roll out numerous renovations across all three resorts over the next three years, including remodeled room towers, refreshed design elements, gaming floor enhancements and new dining concepts, among other upgrades.

Slated to debut this summer, the project's first phase will comprise a $170 million investment in room remodels at both Caesars and Harrah's Resort. Plans call for the refurbishment of 600 guestrooms and suites in Caesars' Centurion and Ocean Towers as well as Harrah's Atrium Tower.

In a statement, Anthony Carano, president and COO of Caesars Entertainment, said that the changes are intended to "continue to position Harrah's, Tropicana and Caesars Atlantic City as leading resorts in the market."

"We remain bullish on Atlantic City, and this commitment will further position us for long-term growth and success," Carano added.
