As restrictions ease and vaccinations increase, both in the U.S. and the Dominican Republic, Club Med Miches Playa Esmeralda will welcome guests when the resort reopens on June 19.

The 335-room, 93-acre property debuted in January 2020 and closed soon after due to the pandemic.

Resort guests must follow entry requirements for the Dominican Republic; Club Med will provide free antigen testing for guests re-entering or returning to the U.S.

In addition, the resorts Emergency Assistance program is available free of charge for travel through Dec. 31, 2022, and covers medical expenses during a guests stay, including those related to Covid-19.

The eco-chic resort features four boutique villages specializing in wellness, adventure, kid-friendly and adults-only concepts, catering to travelers seeking a boutique hotel-within-a-hotel experience.
