The Pacific Northwest-themed Copper Creek Villas &
Cabins has opened at the Disney World Resort in Orlando.
It is the second vacation club property at Disney's
Wilderness Lodge and features 26 waterfront cabins that each can sleep as many
as eight people each.
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins uses extensive wood and
stone in its design and includes references to the American transcontinental
railroad. The property offers its guests water taxi access to the Magic Kingdom
and bus access to the rest of Disney World.
The new vacation club has 184 rooms ranging from studios
that can accommodate as many as four guests to the Cascade Cabins, which
include a full kitchen, washer and dryer, a built-in hot tub on the porch and
indoor-outdoor fireplaces.
Copper Creek also offers guests access to Disney's
Wilderness Lodge, which includes the new Geyser Point Bar & Grill and the
Roaring Fork quick-service restaurant.
The lodge has cabanas, the Boulder Ridge Cove Pool, a new
sports court and barbecue pavilions. It will add the Salon by the Springs spa
later this year.
