Hyatt has opened a second all-inclusive in the Dominican Republic's Miches region: the Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa.
The 500-room resort is adjacent to the adults-only Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, which opened in August. The sister resorts connect via a shared Public Square, a "village-style hub filled with dining, shopping and entertainment venues."
Rooms at the Dreams Playa Esmeralda offer a mix of garden, pool and oceanfront views, with some swim-out suites. Guests can upgrade to Preferred Club accommodations, which include butler service and access to exclusive lounge and pool areas.
The resort is home to clubs for young kids and teens, three pools, a fitness center, meeting and event space and a waterpark, as well as 10 restaurants. Dining options include 1844 Dominican Cuisine, which serves Dominican specialties, and Tierra, which showcases South American-inspired dishes.
Guests have access to the Secrets Spa at the Secrets Playa Esmeralda.
