Equinox tapped Four Seasons COO Christopher Norton to run its nascent hotels division.
Equinox, which runs 82 fitness
clubs worldwide, said last year that it was entering the luxury hotel business.
The company is planning its first hotel in 2019 as part of Manhanttan’s Hudson
Yards product, which is being developed by Equinox parent Related Cos. Equinox
is also planning to open a Los Angeles property.
Norton worked with Four Seasons
for almost three decades.
