Four Seasons will open its first hotel in Kuala Lumpur in early 2018 in a 65-story mixed-use project that will also include luxury residences and 300,000 square feet of high-end retail space.

Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, which will be Malaysia's second under the luxury hotel brand, will be part of the Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur project that's being developed by Venus Assets Sdn Bhd in the city's Golden Triangle district.

In addition to the project's 209 hotel rooms and retail space, it will have 242 private residences and 27 serviced apartments as well as four restaurants.

The property, which is located adjacent to the 50-acre KLCC Park, will also offer guests views of the city's Petronas Towers.

Malaysia's 91-room Four Seasons Langkawi opened in 2005.
