Hyatt Hotels plans to open its first hotel in Uzbekistan, the Hyatt Regency Tashkent, in January 2015.
The hotel will have 300 rooms, two restaurants and about 13,000 square feet of meeting space.
Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, has about 2 million people.
