Hyatt Regency has reflagged the Concourse Hotel at Los Angeles Airport, which will undergo a $75 million renovation that’s slated for completion by Jan. 1.

The 580-room hotel, built in 1967, is the closest to LAX. The property has more than 50,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 14,000-square-foot ballroom.

The hotel will feature 55-inch TVs with video-streaming capabilities in each room as well as quadruple-paned windows for soundproofing. Furnishings will reflect the hotel’s mid-century-modern origins.

All guests will be welcomed with a sweet treat and a beverage, while the hotel will offer free airport shuttle service for all guests.

Hyatt previously operated a Hyatt Regency hotel in Los Angeles when the iconic Century Plaza Hotel flew under the brand. That property closed earlier this year and is being redeveloped into a mixed-use property with a smaller hotel and a residential component.
