IHG Hotels & Resorts has expanded its luxury footprint in France with the debut of the InterContinental Chantilly Chateau Mont Royal.

The 109-room hotel had previously operated as the Chateau Hotel Mont Royal. It had been closed for eight months of renovations ahead of its reopening as an InterContinental hotel.

The property is approximately 30 minutes by train from Paris, within the forested region of Hauts-de-France.

Culinary offerings include two signature restaurants: L'Opera, occupying the chateau's former music salon, and Le Stradivarius, situated in the property's former library and smoking room. Both venues serve classic French cuisine in a modern style.

The property has partnered with French cosmetics brand Biologique Recherche to offer the Spa Biologique Recherche, which specializes in personalized treatments. Among the spa’s offerings is its Skin Instant Lab, which IHG says uses advanced sensors to assess a guest's skin hydration, elasticity, pigmentation and other conditions.

IHG has grown its luxury presence in France over the past five years, with the company debuting the InterContinental Lyon Hotel Dieu in 2019 and the Kimpton St Honoré Paris in 2021.
