Marriott International has opened its
second JW Marriott resort in Hainan, China, the JW Marriott Sanya Haitang Bay.
The property joins the JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai
Bay, which opened in Hainan at the start of 2019.
Located roughly a 40-minute drive from Sanya Phoenix
International Airport, the JW Marriott Sanya Haitang Bay sits on 13.5 miles of
shoreline and boasts beach and tropical forest views.
The resort’s 142 guestrooms and 18 villas range in size from
735 to 7,180 square feet and feature private balconies.
Amenities include 37,600 square feet of meeting and event
space, 86,000 square feet of flexible outdoor space, a Spa by JW and a health
club, which provides guests access to nine pools.
Food-and-beverage options include JW Kitchen, an all-day
dining venue that also showcases live cooking presentations, and the tropically
inspired JW Lounge.
The JW Marriott Sanya Haitang Bay is the 18th JW Marriott in
Greater China.
