Boutique hotel operator Joie de Vivre will open its first Chicago hotel next February when it opens the 184-room Hotel Lincoln in the city’s Lincoln Park district.
The company, which has more than 30 hotels, is rehabbing a 12-story building that overlooks the Lincoln Park Zoo and will give most of the hotel guests views of Lake Michigan from their rooms.
Joie de Vivre’s California properties include San Francisco’s Hotel Drisco and Hotel Kabuki and Los Angeles' Custom Hotel and Hotel Angeleno.
The company’s first non-California property, the Drinkwater in Scottsdale, Ariz., will open this fall.
