Le Meridien Etoile, the Le Meridien brand’s first hotel, has completed a renovation of its guest rooms, public areas and jazz club.

The 1,025-room hotel in Paris, which Air France opened in 1972 and is central Paris’ largest, has received upgrades to its guest rooms that include wall illustrations of the River Seine and illustrations of the city’s districts on the headboards.

The lobby area features “residential-style” seating, while the entrance area includes a mural from brass petals that form a map of Paris.

The Jazz Club Etoile, which opened in 1975, has been upgraded with a mid-century modern design. The hotel’s bar features ironwork inspired by the Eiffel Tower.

The hotel is located in the 17th Arrondissement, which includes the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees.
