Jean-Gabriel Peres
Kerzner International Holdings has
tapped longtime Movenpick Hotels & Resorts chief Jean-Gabriel Peres as its
new CEO.
Peres will be succeeded at Movenpick by Hilton
Worldwide executive Olivier Chavy.
Peres oversaw Movenpick for 17
years. In February, Peres announced that he would resign in the coming months.
Kerzner, which operates the Atlantis and One&Only resort brands, hasn’t set an official start
date. Peres succeeds Alan Leibman, who announced in April that he would step down.
Chavy will begin his
tenure at Zurich-based Movenpick next month. He most recently headed Hilton’s
global luxury and lifestyle brands.
