The newest all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic is the 108-room Maxim Bungalows at Cofresi Beach in Puerto Plata.
The property opened in April as an EP (European Plan) resort, offering a la carte menus in the Social restaurant and lounge.
Maxim Bungalows targets the luxury market with 24-hour concierge services, a 17,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, 24-hour room service and poolside bungalows equipped with iHome audio systems, designer bedding and Kerstin Florian bath and spa products.
"With the new all-inclusive format, our guests are guaranteed the same luxury experience and amenities as before,” said Joaquin Duenas, Maxim Bungalows’ corporate sales and marketing director.
Maxim Bungalows is the magazine brand’s first hotel venture. Maxim is a men’s magazine known for revealing, but non-nude, pictorials of female celebrities.
