The Monte Carlo Resort & Casino is
approaching the completion of its redevelopment into the Park MGM, and the Las Vegas resort officially
will be rebranded in March.
Most of the hotel's 2,700 rooms have been renovated, said
owner MGM Resorts International.

The property's 290 guestrooms on its upper floors will be
rebranded as the NoMad Las Vegas, and that project will be completed by the end
of 2018. NoMad is a boutique brand owned by Sydell Group.
The NoMad will add to the Strip's inventory of "hotels
within hotels." In 2013, the first Nobu hotel opened within Caesars
Palace. The following year, MGM Resorts opened a Delano hotel within the
Mandalay Bay.

In all, MGM Resorts is spending about $550 million on the Park
MGM transformation. In addition to the room renovations, the hotel has added
French restaurant Primrose and Bavette's Steakhouse & Bar, and will add an
outpost of New York-based food marketplace Eataly by the end of next year. MGM Resorts
will announce additional food and beverage outlets next month.
MGM Resorts says Park MGM's room rates will be comparable to
the Mirage's.

As part of the transformation, Lady Gaga will begin a
two-year engagement at the property's Park Theater starting next December. The
5,300-seat venue opened a year ago.
