The Oetker Collection, a European hotel company with 10 properties, has added Jumby Bay Island, a resort on a private island off the northeast coast of Antigua, to its portfolio.

Jumby Bay joins Eden Rock St. Barths as the brand's second property in the Caribbean.

The all-inclusive resort, which is leaving the Rosewood portfolio, is slated to reopen on Oct. 9 for the 2017-18 season.

The Oetker Collection will manage the 40-room resort as well as its 50 villas and estate home rentals.

Additional resort features include three beaches, three restaurants, spa and fitness facilities, watersports, two pools and five tennis courts.

"Since the inception of the Oetker Collection, we have grown our hotel portfolio with carefully chosen resorts and city hotels, each deserving of the 'Masterpiece' title," said Frank Marrenbach, CEO. "As of Oct. 9, guests will experience our highest standards of quality service to which they are accustomed. Our team of hoteliers will offer them a unique sense of place."
