The Renaissance Tlemcen has opened in Algeria, in the northwestern part of the country. It is the first hotel in Algeria for a Marriott International brand.
The new 204-room hotel includes two restaurants, a nightclub and about 30,000 square feet of meeting space.
Tlemcen is located near the Moroccan boarder and the Mediterranean Sea. The city has a population of about 850,000.
