Rocco Forte Hotels will take over the Hotel de la Ville in
Rome after the completion of a two-year renovation in late 2018.
The hotel’s room count will be reduced to 105 from 192.
The building was constructed as a residence in the 17th
century. It is located near the top of the Spanish Steps.
Rocco Forte Hotels operates 10 hotels, including the Hotel
de Russie in Rome. The company plans to open a hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia,
this year and another in Shanghai in 2018.
