Salamander Hotels & Resorts will open the Fishing Lodge Cap Cana near Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on Oct. 1.
Reservation books open in July.
Fishing Lodge will offer 302 one-, two- and three-bedroom villas, 220 of which will be available to resort guests. The remainder will be privately owned. Many units offer private infinity pools.
The property is located within a planned village that surrounds the largest inland marina in the Caribbean.
Facilities include two restaurants, two bars, four pools, a fitness center, boutiques, meeting space and a wedding chapel. More restaurants and a nightclub are planned.
Rates start at $129 per room, per night, double through Dec. 31.
A second property, Ocean Club Cap Cana, opens in 2012 with 92 rooms.
Guests will have access to the nearby Punta Espada Golf Club.
Virginia-based Salamander's portfolio includes the Innisbrook Resort in Tampa; the Woodlands Inn near Charleston, S.C.; and a resort and spa under construction in Northern Virginia town of Midddleburg.
