Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has completed the first phase of a $150 million renovation at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers.
The initial phase involved the expansion of more than 1,000 rooms and suites at the company's flagship property as well as a redesign of the Sheraton Club Lounge and the addition of the new Cisco TelePresence Suite, which provides business communication options on site.
Sheraton will begin the second phase of the redesign in December, which will include updates to the remaining guestrooms. It is expected to wrap up in April.
When completed, all guestrooms and suites will be larger and include features inspired by Sheraton's brand redesign.
"This transformation is the largest renovation project in the history of the hotel," said Mark Sanders, the property's general manager.
