Sirenis Hotels & Resorts, a family-owned hotel company based in Spain with six resorts on the island of Ibiza, already has roots on Mexico’s Riviera Maya as well as in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The company recently expanded into the U.S., not with hotels, but with a sales and marketing operation designed to drive more business and increase U.S. sales to their Mexican and Caribbean properties.
The opening of the Miami office will enable the team to focus directly on travel agents and help create brand awareness in the U.S. market for Sirenis, according to Amanda Carlow, director of sales and marketing.
“Previously Sirenis had little or no presence in the U.S. The opening of our Miami office allows us to more effectively brand and market our product to U.S. consumers as well as better assist travel agents with sales and marketing support,” Carlow said.
The Grand Sirenis Rivera Maya Hotel & Spa is an all-inclusive, family-friendly resort about 20 minutes south of Playa del Carmen.
The beachfront property has multiple a la carte and buffet restaurants, several pools, a spa, expansive guestrooms and suites, a kids’ club, activities, a water park and water sports.
In addition to family programs, the resorts hosts weddings and honeymoons and offers off-site excursions to the nearby Mayan ruins.
There could be more Sirenis resorts in the offing, according to Carlow.
“In the future we hope to expand, but right now we are concentrating on our new office and U.S. presence,” she said.
