New hotel company StayAPT Suites, which launched in January, opened its first property on Oct. 1, in Goldsboro, N.C. Officials in January said the brand would target business travelers.
Guestroom features include a dedicated living room, full kitchen and separate bedroom within a footprint of more than 500 square feet.
StayAPT Suites plans to open additional properties this fall and winter in Alexandria-Fort Belvoir, Va.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Greer and Greenville, S.C.; and Houston.
It also plans to complete 100 corporate-owned and more than 200 franchised locations throughout the United States within the next five years, according to the company.
