SH Hotels & Resorts' Treehouse Hotels brand is coming to Australia, where the Treehouse Adelaide is expected to open in 2026.

The 248-room hotel will be a part of Market Square, a new mixed-use development in Adelaide's historic city center. In addition to hospitality components, the $400 million project will comprise office, retail and residential space.

The Treehouse Adelaide will be home to an all-day dining restaurant, a terrace bar with outdoor seating, a lobby lounge, a backyard grab-and-go outlet, fitness facilities, a wellness spa and indoor and outdoor event space.

SH Hotels & Resorts opened its first Treehouse property in London in late 2019. Another U.K. location, the Treehouse Manchester, is on track to open later this year, while two U.S. outposts — the Treehouse Sunnyvale in Silicon Valley and Treehouse Brickell in Miami — are also in the pipeline.

The SH Hotels & Resorts portfolio also includes the 1 Hotels and Baccarat Hotels brands.
