The first hotel under Starwood Hotels & Resorts' W Hotels brand in Mexico's Riviera Nayarit is open.
W Punta de Mita is part of the Los Veneros resort development about 25 miles northwest of Puerto Vallarta. Located near the surf town of Sayulita, the hotel has 119 rooms as well as five restaurants and bars, and takes its design cues from local surf culture and the artwork of the native Huichol people.
The new-build beachfront property also includes the 4,000-square-foot Away Spa.
The hotel is Latin America's fifth under the lifestyle brand.
