The Westin New York at Times
Square has completed its $39 million renovation, which includes improvements to
its public spaces, food and beverage program, and 873 guestrooms.
The hotel refashioned its
1,800-square-foot Presidential Suite on the property’s 45th floor as an “urban
loft” and renamed it the Empire Suite.
The property’s lobby was updated
to include two 1,000-pound Teak-tree tables as focal points as well as sofa
nooks and a media lounge. Additionally, the hotel added the Foundry Kitchen
& Bar on its second floor.
The hotel, which opened in 2002,
is located at West 43rd Street and Eight Avenue, about four blocks from Times
Square proper.
