The 303-room Wyndham Kingston Jamaica opened July 6 in Jamaica's capital city, marking Wyndham's return to the island.

The property had been a Hilton for the past 12 years.

The Wyndham will undergo extensive renovations of the hotel's public spaces and guestrooms.

"This opening marks the Wyndham brand's return to the island and to the New Kingston community," said Jeff Wagoner, president of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.

"We are proud to welcome the Wyndham Kingston Jamaica to our expanding portfolio and look forward to growing its strong base of corporate and leisure travelers through our marketing channels and signature style of personalized service," he said.
