MLT Vacations began managing and operating Delta Vacations in the U.S. and Canada markets on Monday.
In March, it was announced that MLT would take over management and operations of Delta's vacation business from Travel Impressions on July 6. Travel Impressions has run Delta Vacations since July 1, 2008, when it took over for Certified Vacations, which had been running Delta’s vacation business for 28 years.
As part of the transition, the NWA WorldVacations brand has gone away. MLT Vacations launched NWA WorldVacations, Northwest Airlines' vacation business, 20 years ago.
In October, MLT Vacations, formerly a subsidiary of Northwest Airlines, came under Delta ownership when Delta merged with Northwest.
Agents can find Delta Vacations products on WorldAgent Direct. Delta Vacations offers packages to more than 200 destinations.
Customers who previously booked a Delta Vacations package through Travel Impressions will not be affected by the change.
