Ending a 17-year partnership, TCS World Travel will no longer operate the private jet tours for National Geographic Expeditions after 2019.

National Geographic Expeditions is bringing its private jet tour operations in-house for 2020 trips following the acquisition of Chicago-based tour operator Global Adrenaline last year.

TCS World Travel has operated National Geographic Expeditions' private jet trips since 2001 and will continue to do so through Dec. 31, 2019.

The 25-year-old TCS World Travel specializes in private jet journeys and has partnerships with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Smithsonian Journeys and the Signature Network, among others.

TCS World Travel is owned by London-based Travelopia, which also owns Europe Express, International Expeditions and Quark Expeditions. Travelopia was acquired by global investment firm KKR last year from former owner TUI AG.

Global Adrenaline was founded in 2001 and is a luxury adventure operator. Prior to the National Geographic acquisition, Global Adrenaline had been operating a number of land-based National Geographic Expeditions trips for more than a decade.
