Ensemble says 90% of its members have earned higher payouts from its profit-sharing plan compared to the year before. This year's payouts were based on 2023 sales.
Last year, Ensemble said 73% of members earned more via profit sharing than they did in 2019.
The travel agency consortium attributed this year's increase to strong demand for travel and Ensemble's focus on boosting travel advisor profitability, especially with its ADX booking platform. Ensemble said ADX has resulted in higher margins and revenue for members.
Ensemble had a profit-sharing plan in place before Navigatr Group acquired Ensemble in 2022, when Ensemble operated as a member-owned cooperative. The amount members are paid depends on the previous year's sales and overrides.
Profit sharing has continued under Navigatr. Members were previously paid twice per year with payments split evenly. Last year, that was adjusted. Members are still paid twice a year, but they receive 75% of their share with the first payment. The remainder is paid in June.
