Kellner has stepped down as chairman but will remain on the board until Sabre’s stockholder meeting in April.

Peterson has been on Sabre’s board of directors since 2007 and served as lead independent director during 2017 when Kellner was executive chairman.

Peterson has also been appointed chairman of the board’s governance and nominating committee and executive committee, filling Kellner’s former seats.

Peterson is currently managing partner of TPG Pace Group. He was a co-founder, president and CEO of Hotwire, a discount travel website owned by Expedia Group.
