Sabre Corp. said Wednesday that
it completed its acquisition of Abacus International, a provider of GDS services in the Asia-Pacific region.
Sabre, which announced the acquisition in May, paid $411 million for the 65% of
Abacus that it didn’t already own. The acquisition includes new long-term distribution
agreements between Sabre and the 11 airline owners that sold their collective majority
share of Abacus to Sabre.
