St Giles will reflag Havana's Hotel Deauville, making the
London-based brand the first from the U.K. to announce Cuba operations.
The 144-room property will be reflagged as The Deauville --
A St Giles Signature Hotel.
The hotel, which is located along the Malecon promenade that
runs along Havana Bay, is owned and managed by Cuba-based Gran Caribe, which
will upgrade the hotel.
St Giles has nine properties worldwide, including hotels in
London, New York, Manila and Sydney.
