Amanera, a new property from
Aman Resorts, will debut on the north coast of the Dominican Republic on Nov.
23.
The luxury resort is Aman’s
second Caribbean property, joining Amanyara in the Turks and Caicos.
Accommodations are in 25
casitas that feature the use of natural materials and flat, biodiverse roofs
that include green gardens.

Each of the 25 casitas at Amanera, opening Nov. 23 on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, is a stand-alone unit accessed by winding pathways throughout the resort.
Every casita has an expansive
terrace and high-ceilinged sleeping and living areas and is accessed via
winding pathways through gardens.
Resort facilities include an
open-air bar and lounge, a library, a cigar bar, a restaurant, a curved pool,
the Club de Playa on Playa Grande beach, a kids’ club, a fitness center and the
Aman Spa.
Starting rates are $1,400 per
casita, per night, double, plus tax and service charges.
