Grand Bahama Island entered phase three of the Bahamas Tourism Readiness & Recovery Plan on Oct. 15, although a curfew remains in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Beaches and most major hotels are now open, and visitors are required to vacation in place for 14 days or the length of their stay, whichever is shorter, through Oct. 31.

On Nov. 1, all visitors will be allowed to explore the island's attractions, excursions and tours.

Entry requirements include a negative PCR test taken within seven days prior to travel (children under 10 are exempt), submission of the test results, a rapid test upon arrival and another test four days later.
