JetBlue will add two flights to Curacao from New York's JFK Airport on April 6, increasing its frequency on the nonstop route from three days to five days weekly.

Flights will be available on Mondays and from Thursdays to Sundays, departing from JFK at 8 a.m. and arriving in Curacao at 1:25 p.m. Return flights departing the island at 2:25 p.m. and arrive at 6:29 p.m.

The Curacao Tourist Board forecasts a  20% increase in American visitors from 2022-23, attributing the numbers in part to openings  of several new, rebranded or renovated resorts on the island.

"2022 was a record-breaking year. As of November, total U.S. arrivals exceeded our goals, achieving 152% of our target visitors out of the U.S. market and we are confident this upcoming year will continue on that path. These additional flights are a testament to that," said Ruisandro Cijntje, Curacao's minister of economic development.
