La Coleccion Resorts' Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana will open its doors in February as the first Live Aqua property outside of Mexico from Mexican hotelier Posadas.
"We decided to adjust our opening timeline to ensure that all elements are in place," said Enrique Calderon, COO of Posadas.
Those elements include Posadas' Travel with Confidence program for guests' safety and wellbeing with health checks and thorough cleaning and distancing measures.
The adults-only, all-inclusive resort will offer 347 suites in seven categories, including junior suites with swim-up access from the main swimming pools, and suites with private pools and terraces.
Amenities include the brand's signature Feel Harmony Spa, a fitness center and classes for spinning and yoga, seven restaurants ranging from casual beachfront to fine dining, and a daily lineup of shows and themed events.
