Margaritaville on Grand Cayman to offer all-inclusive option

Margaritaville Beach Resort on Grand Cayman unveiled its all-inclusive plan on Sept. 30, making it the first resort on the island's Seven Mile Beach to offer the option to guests, according to Demitris Cosvogiannis, its general manager.

The only other resort on Grand Cayman with an all-inclusive option is the Wyndham Reef Resort on the far east end of the island.

The year-old, 285-room Margaritaville resort, a renovation of the former Treasure Island property, will continue to offer a European Plan (i.e., room-only) plan for guests.

The all-inclusive rate is set at $150 per person on top of the room rates, which start at $125 per room, per night, double through Oct. 31, at $195 per room, per night, double from Nov. 1 through Dec. 20 and at $315 per room, per night, double from Jan. 4 through April 12.Rates through the Christmas and New Year period require a four-night minimum stay and start at $548 per room, per night, double.

Taxes and service charges are extra on all room rates.
