Disney Cruise Line's Disney Wonder will relaunch on Oct. 1 from San Diego, offering three- and four-day sailings to Mexico.

The shorter cruises will call in Ensenada, Mexico, and spend one day at sea, and the longer ones will visit Cabo San Lucas and spend two days at sea.

Until recently, the company had two-day sailings from San Diego to the Mexican Riviera listed on its website beginning Sept. 24. Disney said that in order to resume sailings in a gradual and phased approach, it had modified the Wonder itineraries and canceled the Sept. 24 and Sept. 26 cruises.

The Disney Wonder is scheduled to be Disney's fourth ship in service since the global cruise shutdown: The Disney Dream resumed three- and four-day Castaway Cay cruises from Port Canaveral on Aug. 9, the Disney Magic began operations in July from the U.K. and the Disney Fantasy plans to resume sailing Sept. 11 from Port Canaveral.

Disney guests 12 years of and older must be fully vaccinated to sail, and those 11 years of age and younger must provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken between three days and 24 hours prior to departure.
