The PortoBay Hotels & Resorts group opened the four-star PortoBay Blue Ocean in Portugal's Algarve region.

Located in Olhos d'Agua, Albufeira, the 348-room property -- formerly the TUI Blue Falesia -- offers direct access to Falesia beach.

Amenities include four swimming pools, three outdoor and one heated indoor; several lounges; extensive gardens; a spa with four treatment rooms, a Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and sauna; a gym; a tennis court; and a hair salon.

There are two main dining options, Mercado and Flor de Sal, and four bars: Lima Bar, Lounge Bar, Aqua Bar and Sunset Bar.

The property also offers direct connection to the neighboring PortoBay Falesia hotel, including its gardens, restaurants, bars and leisure areas. Guests of the Porto Bay Blue Ocean also have access to its facilities and services.

The PortoBay group operates 17 hotels: 14 in Portugal and three in Brazil.
