Castle Resorts and Hotels is rolling out a promotion to buoy the reopening of its Hawaii properties, scheduled to welcome guests back on Sept. 1.

The "Ready, Set, Aloha" promotion includes 20% off the best available rate, a free welcome amenity, flexible cancellation and guaranteed late checkout. Castle's properties in the Aloha State running the promotion include: Waikiki Grand, Bamboo Waikiki Hotel and Waikiki Shore on Oahu; Kaha Lani Resort, Kauai Kailani Resort, the ISO, Makahuena at Poipu, Poipu Shores and Kiahuna Plantation and the Beach Bungalows on Kauai; Halii Kai at Waikoloa Resort, Hilo Hawaiian, Kanaloa at Kona, Kona Bali Kai Resort, Kona Reef Resort and Waimea Country Lodge on Hawaii Island; Paki Maui Oceanfront Resort, Kamaole Sands Resort, Maui Banyan and Polynesian Shores on Maui; and Molokai Shores on Molokai.

"We understand the challenges people have faced during the pandemic and our Ready, Set, Aloha offer provides extra savings and amenities to experience a much-needed getaway in paradise," president and CEO Alan Mattson said in a statement. "Guests will also enjoy peace of mind with our flexible cancellation policy and Castle Cares commitment to cleanliness and safety."

In addition to the discounted room rate, guests can check out as late as 4 p.m. on their day of departure. The special is refundable (minus reservation processing fee plus tax) if canceled 24 hours prior to arrival for Hilo Hawaiian Hotel, the ISO and Waimea Country Lodge, and 72 hours prior to arrival for all other properties.

The offer is available for new bookings made through Aug. 8 for travel between Sept. 1 and Dec. 18.

On Sept. 1, Hawaii is scheduled to start a pretravel testing program that will allow arrivals who produce a negative coronavirus result within 72 hours of departure for the Islands to skip the state's 14-day quarantine.
