The Green Room, a speaker series sponsored by Aqua-Aston Hospitality, has announced the lineup for its upcoming season including a Pulitzer Prize winner.
The series is produced by arts and ecology organization The Merwin Conservancy, and works to build an appreciation for language, imagination and nature through arts and ecology salons in Hawaii.
The 2019-2020 schedule includes Forrest Gander, winner of the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for poetry, and former U.S. poets laureate Robert Hass and Joy Harjo.
Events in the series will be held on Dec. 11, Jan. 28 and March 18, at the Honolulu Museum of Art on Oahu; and Dec. 13, Jan. 30 and March 20, at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center on Maui.
