For the past 40 years, the Hale Aina Awards has celebrated chefs and restaurants across Hawaii. Now, it's expanding the awards into a series of culinary events and experiences.
"Throughout the years, our dedicated team of industry experts, passionate food critics and discerning diners have come together to recognize the very best our Islands have to offer, and we look forward to continuing to celebrate Hawaii's award-winning chefs through this event series," said Donna Kodama-Yee, publisher of Honolulu Magazine.
Tickets are available for the first event in the series, BrunchFest on March 24. It features award-winning breakfast restaurants. Next is the Rose Soiree on April 12 for wine lovers. Then on Sep. 7 is the Hale Aina Gala, the ultimate dining event, featuring award-winning restaurants and cocktails.
