Hawaii added 11 companies to the list of approved testing partners for its pretravel testing program.
Visitors can now go to those providers for testing for either their transpacific travel to the Islands or for the required testing when traveling between islands.
"Partners were selected based on their ability to administer the test and expand the testing network, with the goal of making it easier to safely travel to Hawaii," according to a statement from Gov. David Ige.
Joining the state's list of trusted testing partners are American Family Care, the American Samoa Department of Health, Atlas Genomics, Capstone Clinic, Clarity Lab Solutions, Costco Wholesale/Azova, Go Health Urgent Care, UC San Diego Health, University of Washington Medicine, WestPac Labs and XpresCheck.
For interisland travel, a new mobile Covid-19 testing lab at Honolulu Airport has been approved as a partner. Three Hawaii labs -- Clinical Labs of Hawaii, Diagnostic Laboratory Services and S&G Labs Hawaii -- are approved to process test samples taken within 72 hours of departure for interisland travel.
A full list of all of the approved testing partners can be found at hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/.
Arriving visitors without a test from one of the state's trusted testing partners remain subject to the 14-day quarantine.
