Hawaiian Airlines has announced it will begin daily nonstop flights between Sacramento and Kahului, Maui.
The new route will begin April 1 and will operate using the Airbus A321neo.
The initial schedule calls for one flight in each direction per day. Hawaiian Airlines has offered service between Sacramento and Oahu since June 2002.
Hawaiian's 189-passenger A321neo includes 16 first-class seats, 44 Extra Comfort premium economy seats, and 129 economy seats.
