Hilton Hawaii has made a couple of new hires for its reorganized sales team.
Thomas Casademont has been selected to serve as the new senior sales manager. Working out of Orlando, Casademont will oversee the Midwest corporate market while supporting two of Hilton Hawaii's flagship resorts, Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort on Oahu and Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Island of Hawaii.
Additionally, Hilton Hawaii has tapped Linh To-Nguyen as regional senior sales manager, leisure market Hawaii.
The posts follow a recent reorganization in which the company merged its sales teams for the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort and Hilton Waikoloa Village, and To-Nguyen will take charge of the new domestic and international leisure joint team in addition to the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Alana Waikiki Beach.
Casademont comes to Hilton with 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with his previous position at the El Conquistador, a Waldorf-Astoria property in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. He also previously led the Omni Hotels national sales team based out of Washington, D.C.
To-Nguyen brings more than 13 years of experience to the position; most recently she served as senior sales manager at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif. To-Nguyen first joined Hilton Hotels in 2003 as an administrative assistant at Hilton Hawaiian Village and advanced into roles as sales account executive and sales manager. To-Nguyen, who is fluent in Chinese and Vietnamese, holds a degree in business administration, travel industry management, from Hawaii Pacific University.
