Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort, the 81-acre resort on the Big Island of Hawaii, has introduced its most luxurious accommodations: six new free-standing homes within the resort, which are comparable to standalone penthouses.

Known as the resort's Kauhale signature suites, they can accommodate up to 10 guests and range from 6,500 to 8,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. "All six of the signature Kauhale were developed around the strong focal points of either sweeping ocean views or welcoming communal spaces. The collection is comprised of three distinctive layouts and design patterns, each featuring personalized touches," a news release said.

The Kauhale feature outdoor showers, private pools, hot tubs and fire pits. Rates start from $12,000 per night and include a 60-minute spa service for two adults, airport transfers and a dedicated butler service.
