The Outrigger Enterprises Group has announced new branding for its mid-tier, off-beach hotel properties, renaming the products Ohana Hotels by Outrigger effective March 17.
Outrigger operates two Ohana properties in Waikiki, which will now be called the Ohana Waikiki East by Outrigger and Ohana Waikiki Malia by Outrigger.
“The transition to Ohana Hotels by Outrigger allows our guests to more easily recognize the brand as part of the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts portfolio and associate this with our global focus on providing unique, culturally authentic vacation experiences,” Sean Dee, the chief marketing officer and executive vice president for Outrigger Enterprises Group, said in a statement. “We are confident this endorsement will provide benefits for both our guests and travel partners.”
Based in Honolulu, Outrigger Enterprises Group unveiled new Outrigger Resorts branding for its premier beachfront properties last year. The company owns and operates nearly 40 hotels and resorts in Hawaii; Guam; Fiji; Thailand; Mauritius; the Maldives; Vietnam; and Hainan Island, China.
Outrigger first launched its Ohana property branding in 1999 for “travelers seeking quality accommodations at midlevel pricing.”
